All GoldenSection Notes editing dialog boxes have the same interface elements:
- Main menu
- Toolbar
- Record editing area
Main menu

The main menu of the editing area repeats the functionality of GoldenSection Notes
main menu that provides text and record editing features.
Toolbar
The toolbar contains those items of the editing window main menu that are used most frequently upon working with records and formatting a text. Elements in the bottom part of the toolbar are designed for text-editing (formatting, font selection, etc.). In addition, the following buttons are added to the main menu and the toolbar: Saves current changes in a record and closes the editing dialog box. For quick access to this item, use the Ctrl+Enter key combination. Cancels all changes made in the current record and closes the editing dialog box.
Record editing area
There are always two tab pages in a record editing area: General and Comment.
The General tab page consists of two parts. The upper part contains fields that correspond to
records of the current document type. The bottom part has a comment field
Example of the data editing area in documents of the Notes type:

The Comment tab page contains a full-size Comment field for the current record. Its contents are absolutely the same as the contents of the Comment field on the General tab page. |
