Description

GoldenSection Pocket PC Synchronization Plugin - a module that synchronizes WinOrganizer contacts with contacts from a Pocket PC address book.

You can use the Pocket PC synchronization plug-in to:

Synchronize WinOrganizer's contacts with a Pocket PC device
Copy contacts from WinOrganizer to a Pocket PC device
Copy contacts from a Pocket PC device to WinOrganizer

Installation and startup

To operate the plugin, you need an installed version of WinOrganizer - version 3.0 or higher.

The new menu item: Synchronize
Contacts with Pocket PC

The synchronization module is not supplied with WinOrganizer installation package. Download GSPPCSync from our site and install it to the same folder that contains installation of WinOrganizer. After you install GoldenSection Pocket PC Synchronization Plugin, restart WinOrganizer.

After restart, the main menu of WinOrganizer displays a new item in the "Tools" section - "Synchronize Contacts with Pocket PC".

Prior to starting the GoldenSection Pocket PC Synchronization Plugin, make sure you have the installed version of Microsoft ActiveSync.

Important tip for use with Smartphone

In order to have access from the desktop PC with GSPPCSync plugin to the Smartphone's database, RAPI must be configured to allow access. This can be done with the RAPIPolicy tool that can be downloaded here.
